Keep improving. One agreed job at a time.
Each maintenance queue is $997 per month, with a minimum of one queue required while your managed program is active. Add queues when you want more work moving in parallel.
You own your local app, accounts and Mac. You can cancel management and keep them. Optional secure datacenter hosting is available while active maintenance continues.
Define the outcome and scope together. Each queue has one active job at a time.
2
Build and review
Each agreed job receives a two-week allocation when it starts. We work through it with your feedback.
3
Accept, then move forward
You accept the work before the next job begins. Jobs run sequentially within each queue.
More queues let jobs run in parallel. Your priorities direct the work.

Business experience that turns AI into measurable value.
Effective AI implementation starts with understanding how a business works. We bring the operating judgment to identify the right opportunities, ask the questions that matter, and focus your investment where it can make a difference.
30 years of operating experience
Our approach is shaped by Jim Gurol’s 30 years of starting, growing, and running businesses, including successful exits, a profitable managed services business, and a SaaS platform.
That experience spans sales, marketing, operations, field service and dispatch, project management, finance, billing, and IT. We understand how changes in one department affect the people, processes, and margins around it.
This perspective helps us identify opportunities for immediate ROI and anticipate issues that tool expertise alone can miss. We prioritize practical improvements, establish a baseline, and measure the return against your time and cost.
Jim Gurol founded California Telecom in 2008, combining enterprise-level network engineering with personal, responsive service. Under his leadership, the company grew from a regional connectivity provider into nationwide managed network services, cybersecurity, and AI-powered infrastructure management.
Jim also founded Netverge, the platform behind California Telecom’s network monitoring and service delivery. Building technology to solve real operational problems is central to his approach.
Through Caltelligent, a division of California Telecom, Jim brings that same hands-on approach to AI: helping your people use it confidently, making business information easier to see, and reducing repetitive work.
Training on your actual work
Clear scope and shared expectations
Your accounts. Your data. Your systems.
AI moves the work. People stay in control.
Human-in-the-loop is how we work at every stage of your AI Journey. We put practical governance around your data, decisions, and workflows so your team can use AI with confidence.
Human judgment stays in the loop
People review important outputs and approve consequential actions. We agree on what AI can do independently and what needs a person’s sign-off.
Your business data stays out of model training
We select business tools and configurations that do not train on your data, and verify the applicable terms and settings before connecting your information.
Clear boundaries. Practical checks.
We limit access to what the work needs, test before rollout, and route exceptions to a person. Your team can review, stop, or correct the work when something needs attention.
Good questions. Straight answers.
Getting started should feel straightforward.
Where should we start?
Join the free community to learn and explore practical ways to use AI. Choose Builder for reusable prompts, skills and monthly group sessions with Jim, or Builder Pro for apps and monthly individual 1:1 calls as well. If you want us to build and manage the solution for your business, start with a conversation about the Done for You Elite Program.
When are the community sessions?
Builder members and higher can join Jim’s monthly group session on the second Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m. Pacific. Builder Pro also includes monthly individual 1:1 calls with Jim.
What does the Elite Program cost?
The initial investment is $9,950: $5,000 for setup, including your customer-owned Mac mini, and $4,950 for the agreed 30-day custom build. After the initial build, the managed program requires at least one maintenance queue at $997 per month per queue while it remains active.
Setup covers provisioning, email and accounts, permissions, private access, and the connection to our management dashboard. The custom build covers the agreed dashboard, integrations, automations, testing and launch. Third-party software subscriptions, AI usage and any hosting charges are confirmed separately.
What do we need before starting?
We include and provision the Mac mini. You provide an accountable decision-maker, the agreed data and access to your business tools, and timely feedback. We confirm the required third-party accounts, permissions and operating costs together. The 30-day build starts after mutual approval of the statement of work and reservation of your build slot.
Can you work with our existing apps?
Yes. We review your existing apps, spreadsheets and workflows, then agree on the connections and custom work to include. Your dashboard brings the agreed information into one view. We check access, data quality and integration options before committing to the scope.
How does the 30-day build work?
We agree on the scope and acceptance criteria in a statement of work. Once we both approve it and reserve your build slot, the 30-day build begins. We build the agreed dashboard, integrations and automations, test them with your team, and launch. Changes to scope or dependencies are agreed together.
How do maintenance queues work?
At least one $997-per-month maintenance queue is required while your managed program is active. Each queue has one active job at a time. We agree on each job, allocate two weeks when it starts, and obtain your acceptance before the next job begins. Jobs run sequentially within a queue; additional queues let work proceed in parallel.
What do we own, and can we cancel management?
You own the Mac mini, your custom local app and source code, your data, and your accounts. You can cancel management and keep them. We provide the agreed handoff so you can continue operating your local solution. Third-party software retains its own licensing and subscription terms.
Does everything run locally on the Mac?
The Mac provides a dedicated home for your local app and agreed workflows. That does not mean every AI model runs locally. Approved cloud AI services and connected apps may process information under their applicable terms and settings. We agree on those connections and permissions with you. Optional secure datacenter hosting is available while active maintenance continues; you still own the Mac.
What does it mean to give our bot a name and an email?
We configure a dedicated AI assistant with an identity, email and access appropriate to its agreed work. Your team defines its instructions, reviews important outputs and approves consequential actions. It can help sort requests, prepare responses and move information between your apps within those boundaries.
How do you protect our data and keep AI in check?
We use a human-in-the-loop approach: people set the boundaries, review important outputs, and approve consequential actions. We select tools and configurations that keep your business data out of model training, checking the applicable terms and settings before connecting it. We agree on access permissions, test workflows, and define how exceptions reach a person. AI can make mistakes; practical governance keeps people accountable and gives your team a way to stop or correct the work.
Let’s put AI to work in your business.
